Love from a nurses point of view:
When we hear a heartbeat; we hear lub-dub lub-dub. It is what keeps us alive. It is also what keeps love in a relationship. Without the lub or the dub, than love just simply dies. Unfortunately, it is easy for someone to fall in love with someone who doesn’t feel the same. It can drive a person crazy. We put in all the lub we can but without that dub, there is no hope. I should know; it has happened to me.
In every relationship, the beginning is the best, the courting, the getting to know each other, the fun part. Then, in most relationships, a line is crossed and two people fall in love. In my story, I thought I fell in love. I had the lub and I fought to get the dub. At first I was blinded, thinking there was a chance. We were never apart; we talked about everything and anything. It was heaven to me- I thought I was happy and I thought he was happy too.
But without the dub, I was fading. My love was suffering and I started to realize I was the only person in this relationship. There was no real love. The arguments started, distance grew, and I was hurting. My heart was yearning for something that simply was not there and I suffered. Before my eyes were fully opened, it was over and I was 8 months pregnant- cheated on and Alone. However, once my son was born, it was than that I realized what love was. He helped me feel unconditional love and taught me how to love back. My Dub to my Lub. From that point on, I tried to find love, True Love!
Welcome to my Quest in finally finding love. I am new to blogging and I hope to one day change that. I’m not your typical old school romance novel, but I have a sweet soul that I want to share with you.
“Love is the answer to everything. It’s the only reason to do anything. If you don’t write stories you love, you’ll never make it. If you don’t write stories that other people love, you’ll never make it” -R. Bradbury
